Nayan Naksh

Love Stories are for real!

Nayan Naksh – In some corner of the world, it always happens, we need our soul and eyes to see it happening in front of us!

It is said if a great thing is lost from your life, God rewards it with love and more love, nothing more to ask for.

In one story and in every story Nayan is only complete with Naksh!

The story begins:

Nayan met with an accident while she visited her village when she was a teenager.

It was one rainy day she was singing merrily and was walking on a slippery road in her village.

Suddenly a cow with big horns started running and coming towards her. The cow was running as if she was released from a prison!

Without even realizing anything more, the cow accidently hit Nayan, her long horns proved fatal, as that hit Nayan’s forehead and her eyes.

Nayan closed her eyes, badly hit, with both her palms. She knelt down and started moaning loudly!

A boy came running from behind and tried to console Nayan in a shaky expression, ‘Please forgive, I never had the intention.’

‘Radha was forcibly locked in the cowshed, I tried to save her by freeing her.’

Village seniors came running. But by now Nayan had lost her vision.

No, the boy was never found, and no one knew who he was.

While being back in city, Nayan grew up and became an art sculptor. Over some time she rose as the best student of Naksh.

Naksh was her mentor, he took care of Nayan’s and inspired her to be an independent artist, whose sculpture left people awestruck, as it seemed that her beautiful hand sculpture used to bring back life to statues and idols.

Nayan’s parents started realizing that Naksh is the only person, who can love Nayan, unconditionally.

Many times, Naksh pampered Nayan, even when she created some mischief.

He gave up his sleep while taking care of Nayan, when she used to fall sick. If something was less in measure, Naksh would give it wholly to Nayan, without taking any bit from it.

This Mahashivratri, they reached the temple late, and found prasad was already distributed and the Pujari said, ‘Prasad is left for only one person, and this year the holiness is so high, everybody’s prayers are answered!’

Naksh took the prasad for Nayan saying, ‘Nayan, may this year you apply kajal in your beautiful eyes and have your vison back!’

Nayan knew that day: ‘Naksh is the one!’

People empathized with Nayan, but Naksh is all she had and Naksh is all she needed.

25 April 2021:

Nayan was sitting on a hospital cot.

‘No, you are Not Naksh!’

‘I know his touch’.

Nayan closed her eyes, and tears rolled down from her cheek.

‘Please call Naksh, I want to see him.’

The doctor touched her forehead and said,

‘Okay Nayan, Naksh will reach here soon, please open your eyes! Don’t you want to see the beautiful world, this is what you wanted right?’

‘Not without Naksh’, Nayan covered her eyes with her hands.

She laid down and covered herself completely with the green bedsheet in the hospital bed.

It was still raining heavily outside.

The doctor and nurse left Nayan’s room.

Doctor was heard saying: ‘Nurse, lets come back tomorrow, we need to let her know about the car accident, which she has survived and got back her vision but…’

Nayan was sleeping, tears still rolling down from her eyes. She got up and sat on her bed. Her eyes still closed.

‘Pagli, still now you do not know how to comb your hair’, someone ran fingers over Nayan’s head!

Nayan got up, sat on her bed, eyes still closed, she smiled softly, ‘Naksh, is that you?’

The boy standing next to her ran his fingers on her head and started combing her hair, ‘See, I have got a pearl-studded hair clutch. You will look more beautiful Nayan, I have tied it dear.’

Nayan touched her hair clutch with both hands, and she smilingly opened her eyes.

She saw the doctor and his nurse were standing in front of her. She smiled at them and said eagerly, ‘Naksh…’

The doctor interrupted her and said, ‘Nayan, love stories are never incomplete, you will always have Naksh by your side. Naksh has already left this world yesterday as you both met with the accident, but he will stay with you, you will see this beautiful world through his eyes.’

The doctor touched Nayan’s cheeks and conveyed that Naksh has left a message for Nayan:

‘Radha was forcibly locked in her cowshed, that day I was only trying to save her.’
